DESCRIPTION

The term Dual-Phase Optimizers refers to those substances with the ability to simultaneously influence and optimize the activity of certain phase I and phase II detoxification enzyme systems. Optimizers generally up-regulate or induce phase II enzymes; however, optimizing phase I enzymes may mean down-regulating them, without totally inhibiting them, when they are too high. Dual-phase optimizers may further balance the phases of detoxification by supporting antioxidant defense systems and binding free radicals formed between the two phases.

RECOMMENDED DOSE

Adults: Take 2 capsules twice daily with food, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

CAUTIONS

Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 12 weeks. Use for a minimum of 3 weeks to see beneficial effects. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or have kidney stones, gallstones, diabetes, an iron deficiency or a liver disorder or develop symptoms of liver trouble (such as abdominal pain, dark urine or jaundice). Do not use if you are taking nitroglycerin or antibiotics, or are allergic to plants of the Asteracea/Compositae/Daisy family or have a bile duct obstruction. If allergy occurs, discontinue use.
