DESCRIPTION

HeartBeat® is used in Herbal Medicine to help maintain and support cardiovascular health. It contains cayenne and prickly ash, which are traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help support peripheral circulation.

Comprised of nine expertly chosen healing herbs, featuring hawthorn and garlic, this formula has been a mainstay for St Francis for over 20 years. Hawthorn reduces what’s called peripheral vascular resistance. In this way it helps the blood flow to the heart more freely, keeping it supplied with oxygen and beating regularly. Garlic is a highly significant medicinal herb, its many antioxidant benefits verified by thousands of years of use. Scientific research indicates that garlic has remarkable cardiovascular action.

INGREDIENTS

(per 1 ml): 

Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna, flower, leaf, and berry) 0.18 ml (1:4, QCE 45 mg)

Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna, bark) 0.18 ml (1:4, QCE 45 mg)

Garlic (Allium sativum, bulbs) 0.14 ml (1:1, QCE 140 mg)

Linden (Tilia x europaea, blossoms) 0.14 ml (1:4, QCE 35 mg)

Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum, fruiting body) 0.12 ml (1:4, QCE 30 mg)

Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca, aerial parts) 0.098 ml (1:4, QCE 24 mg)

Turmeric (Curcuma longa, root) 0.08 ml (1:4, QCE 20 mg)

Southern Prickly Ash (Zanthoxylum clava-herculis, bark) 0.05 ml (1:4, QCE 12.5 mg)

Cayenne (Capsicum annuum, fruit) 0.013 ml (1:6, QCE 2 mg)

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Certified Organic alcohol, Distilled water, Certified Organic vegetable glycerine 

SUGGESTED USE

Adults: Take 2 ml (60 drops) 3 times daily in a little water. To avoid digestive upset, take with food/meal.

CAUTIONS

Consult a health care practitioner before use: if you have diabetes, stomach ulcers or inflammation, or gallstones; if you are taking protease inhibitors, antiplatelet medication or blood thinners. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms worsen.

Do not take: if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you have a bile duct obstruction.

Known Adverse Reactions: Hypersensitivity/allergy has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use.
