PASCOE AMARA (BITTERS) 50ML

DESCRIPTION

Used in Herbal Medicine to help increase bile flow. Gentian is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve digestive disturbance/dyspepsia.

INGREDIENTS

100 g (= 109 ml) contains: 

Cinchona ........10g

Gentian ...........4g

Bitter orange.... 4g

Cinnamon ........2g (Extractant: Ethanol 70% m/m)

    Contains 65% vol. alcohol.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Adults and children < 12 years: 45-60 drops 3 times daily. The drops should be taken diluted in some warm water half an hour before meals.

CAUTION

Stomach and duodenal ulcers, pregnancy, hypersensitivity to quinine, quinidine and cinnamon or peruvian balm.

SIDE EFFECTS/INTERACTIONS

Hypersensitivity reactions such as skin allergies or fever may occasionally occur after the use of medicinal products that contain quinine. There have been rare reports of increased bleeding tendencies from reduced platelet counts.

If this occurs, see a healthcare practitioner immediately. Predisposed patients may occasionally experience headaches after the use of medicinal products that contain Gentian Root.
